WHAT IS BIO-CLASH?

BIO-CLASH is a strategy trading card game grounded in real biological science and designed around how living systems function in conflict, adaptation, and survival.

Rather than using traditional fantasy races or abstract factions, BIO-CLASH draws directly from immunology, neuroscience, virology, physiology, genetics, and cellular biology. Each card represents a biological process, cell type, or molecular mechanism translated into game mechanics. Abilities are based on authentic scientific behavior such as signal transmission, immune targeting, metabolic energy production, muscle contraction, viral replication, and cellular death.

Visual design in BIO-CLASH follows a function-first philosophy. Artwork does not need to resemble the literal microscopic structure of the subject. Instead, it communicates the effect and behavior of that system: speed, force, penetration, spread, protection, or transformation. This allows the game to use cinematic and mythic imagery while remaining scientifically accurate in how cards function.

Gameplay is powered by five ATP Pathways, which represent the fundamental biological systems that drive action:

  • Metabolic – Energy generation, biosynthesis, growth, and repair
  • Neural – Signal transmission, reaction speed, coordination, and control
  • Immune – Detection of non-self, precision targeting, and elimination of threats
  • Muscular – Mechanical force, movement, and physical impact
  • Pathogen – Infection, mutation, replication, and systemic disruption

These pathways are not factions, but resource systems reflecting how life allocates energy and information to perform work.

BIO-CLASH is designed to serve three roles simultaneously:

  1. A competitive strategy card game with deep mechanical interaction
  2. An educational framework that accurately represents biological processes
  3. A visual interpretation of life’s internal systems expressed through symbolic, high-impact art

Every unit, action, structure, condition, and specialist card is built around real biological logic.
